I am all about power when I travel. I love having too much more than too little. I have a massive 20,000mAh battery brick backup for both my laptop and my other “stuff”. With my old Samsung NOTE2 I had a ZeroLemon battery and loved it. This one, a ZeroLemon NOTE4 10,000mAh battery, I just gave up on.
Now let me begin with a review of the battery itself. It is truly amazing and more than 3x the power of the standard stock battery. Once you have trained your phone to understand what it has, you can run for days and days and days. In fact, I ran on 1% battery for 3 or 4 hours. To say you have all the power you need is an understatement. Performance wise I was blown away and just what I wanted.
But the battery performance was not the deal breaker for me – it is the MASSIVE size of the thing and the square case shape I just cannot take. All my other cases have rounded edges including my old ZeroLemon for my NOTE2. This one is basically a square brick and the cutouts for the plugs catch on everything. I just could not keep using the phone this way.
Again, performance wise this just crushing everything else. I now use my phone for GPS when I golf and all my partners phones, when running GPS for 18 holes, were dead. Not mine, I had full power for the next 18 holes with power to spare at the end of the day. Plus, the phone mount clip is super strong so that worked perfectly as well. So it really bugs me I don’t love the battery for daily use as it is amazing when on the golf course.
The reason I tested this was my old battery was over a year old and was not holding power as long as when new. So I just got a brand new OEM one and went back to my old i-BLASON case (here is the one for iPhone 6s btw) that I adore that fits great in my hand and has a build in kick stand for watching movies.
Have you ever tested ZeroLemon batteries in your phone? Do you put up with the size vs performance of these long life batteries? – René

I used to have the exact same battery. That thing is a beast and it’s the source of much ridicule of friends with “sleek” phones until, like you mentioned, they use theirs all up and there’s still hours left in the day. I ran mine for close to 4 days without recharging it doing normal everyday things. I didn’t mind the size and it being so square. It was a trade off of knowing you could go through a really long day of heavy extended use and it would still have power left. Another bonus (glass half full view) is that it’s wide enough to stand up on its side which can be helpful for watching movies or video content. I no longer have the phone as it was lost while on travel and the new Note5,while sleek and noticibly faster than the Note4, is all sealed up like the iPhone. No battery swap nor memory card slot. 🙁
I HAVE A NOTE 4 WITH THE 10000 MAH BATTERY. LET ME BE CLEAR……I LOVE IT. I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE PHONE OR WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK ABOUT IT…..IN FACT PEOPLE ASK WHY IT IS SO BIG AND I SHOW THEM HOW MUCH STAND BY TIME I HAVE (USUALLY 11 DAYS OR MORE) AND THEIR LITTLE MINDS ARE IN SHOCK……..THEY DESERVE IT. SORRY….IF THEY WANT A SMALL PHONE WITH A NOTHING BATTERY ….
