I don’t know where to begin. I am so sickened by Delta SkyBonus that I just (almost) have no words to type. I think Delta’s anti-small business attitude is just so sad. Small business folks, who maybe fly Delta each and every week, driving this economy forward, no matter how much they spend with Delta will get KICKED OUT in a matter of weeks from Delta SkyBonus. Thanks Delta. Way to support small business owners.
Anyway, it seems they want some feedback on what “we” think. Oh, the best part of this [targeted] bonus deal? It will take up to 8 weeks to get the points. That is well AFTER they have kicked me out of this Delta small business program. Really Delta? (deep sigh). So for now let me just show you all the slides and you can see what you think. Click on any of them for a full screen sideshow.
So there you are. It is so funny to me that Delta partner AMEX is all about Small business including Small business Saturday but not Delta. They hate small business (unless they have 5 folks flying at least 1x a year). So what do you think of these questions from Delta SkyBonus. Do you see any interesting information in the Q&A? Oh and will you also be unceremoniously kicked out of the business program on 1JAN16? – René

What was the title of the email? I usually delete the Delta survey ones. Also, if we haven’t gotten an email about being booted from Skybonus are we good for next year?
I haven’t received my “expulsion” letter yet, but am expecting it based on the # travelers and $ spending requirements. So, I just pre-emptively redeemed 90k points on SkyClub passes and drink certificates. Cheers!
As a small business owner I do qualify and use skybonus program. With that said, 10,000 skybonus points won’t even get me a cup of ice on delta metal – deleted.
mspsweede, let me know if you get 2016 or 2015 drink tickets. I redeemed mine a few weeks ago, and got a bunch of useless 2015 tickets that expire 12/31/15
I think we managed to have 6 distinct fliers in 2015, so we should be safe from expulsion. Of course, I had to add missing tickets for 4 of these team members. You have to check you account and make sure you’ve gotten credit for all your, and your people’s, flights.
Now, I’m not going to suggest doing anything wrong, immoral, or naughty (I’m on Santa’s good list this year), but if your small business is a few humans short of making 5 distinct fliers, check with your friends and family (who might be infrequent fliers) and see if they still have their ticket numbers in email or print. Clever Sky Bone Us members might figure out that you can add a ticket number for just about anyone-provided, of course, that the ticket was not already associated to a SkyBonus number.
As for the survey, I haven’t seen it in my email yet. Maybe I’m on the Sky Bone Us naughty list.
