Who doesn’t like a Business/First Class Elite Mileage Run? Look what I found for you today; It is a First Class Delta Air Lines itinerary from Dallas to Las Vegas. You have a single day when this fare is the lowest; Depart on Sunday, December 20th and return the next day, Monday.
I really tried to make this work through Detroit both ways, but it just isn’t price-friendly using that route. So, let’s connect through Minneapolis on the outbound and we can still get the Detroit connection on the return. You do have to spend a night in Las Vegas, but that can be cheap…or get another stay towards a hotel elite status you have/need. I recently stayed at a property in Vegas and they had a shuttle from the airport, a room rate of $29 and also gave me a $20 dining credit!
You can do other days, but you pass the 8 Cents Per Mile (CPM) threshold. The pickings are getting slim around the end of the year. If you need to get one last Elite Mileage Run in and pick up 7,333 MQM’s for $533 here is a great deal! I see that the first class cabin from Las Vegas to Detroit is wide open (only one seat taken.) Book now as I think once this deal hits it will be scooped up quickly by those who see the value.
Have fun playing with your day and a half you get to spend in Las Vegas with this run!
The Details:
MQM’s: 7,333 Medallion® Qualification Miles (MQM’s)
Ticket Price: $533
CPM: 7.2 Cents Per Mile (CPM)
I could not get KAYAK to properly price this, but going directly through Delta.com and searching for my exact flights (shown in booking image above) should get you this itinerary and fare
I will continue to press on looking for these great values and hoping to help you find the perfect Mileage Run before the month is over. As I find them, I shall also be posting the best runs for early 2016.
Also, this makes this route’s numbers look like this:
MQM’s: 8,210 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQM’s)
Ticket Price: $557
CPM: 6.8 Cents Per Mile (CPM)
Here is the Direct Link to book this Dallas-Detroit-Las Vegas-Detroit-Dallas itinerary.

Choose the flights shown above and then press SELECT (on the Kayak site) which will take you directly to Delta.com’s booking engine. If you really want the MQM’s and you can afford a day and a half to get them in, here is a way to get a bunch!
