OK I admit this is just crazy and maybe that is why I am posting it. It will take you 3 days of flying and you will have to overnight in MIA for 2 days between flights. So, that does change the cost structure.But if you are flush with hotel points, and need MQMs, this could work for you maybe.
Plus, if there are issues that affect your ability to finish all the legs it is all on ONE PNR so you could maybe grip for route credit if you have to change it up mid-run. Also, clearly, there are a ton of bumpertunites with this many segments. Lastly, it would be fun to try to see where the fare break is for Regional Upgrade certs 🙂
Also a bit HT to my friend John from Laptop Travel for the idea to get this MSP insane run going.
Here are the numbers:
Cost: $447
9,317 MQMs at 4.8CPM
Bookable via KAYAK.com via THIS LINK
For those who have not used Kayak.com you 1st log in to your Delta.com and THEN use the above link and click the Delta flights and it will fill them in for you! BE SURE YOU PICK THE ONE THAT DOES NOT NEED AN AIRPORT CHANGE IN NYC! – René

Is this available in January or February…..it might be a good way to get outta the snow.
@Wendy –
Only ONE opening: Feb 2/3/4 respectively for the three ‘sections’
Otherwise, same flights are between $648 and $2298 (not a typo!) for the same flights in January / February
Anything you see out of MSP on 12/13 to rack up a few thousand MQMs?? Trying to hit the next medallion level!
