If you have never visited the above Centurion Clubs by American Express you are really missing out. You can get entrance for you and up to two guests with either the:

If you find on your travels you will frequent airports with Centurion Clubs either of these cards can be a real value to you for access to these clubs. You will need a same day departing or arrival boarding pass and ID to enter.
But this SEA Studio lounge, I think, is a mistake. Please know this is coming from someone who has flown to a Centurion club for no other reason than to experience spending a day there. I am a HUGE fan of the Centurion concept and have been impressed with all of the lounges so far – until this one.
First let me give you a tour of the location. As you can see, find B3 and you are in the right place at Seattle’s SEA airport.
At check-in you are informed how you have to ask for adult refreshments, limited in what they are, from the kitchen area as there is no bar at this Centurion club.
An inspiring menu with so many choices for you to consider. What would be your choice? Oh please don’t ask for a mimosa, you can’t have one of those either. 🙁
There is a lavatory but no shower at this location so you don’t have to worry about being put on the list to use it. Nor is there a spa like many of the other clubs so you don’t need to concern yourself with that list either when visiting SEA.
Then we have the rest of the lounge that you see above. One big room. There is a slightly separate TV area as you see in the last shot.
Now on to snacks depending on the time of day. Continental plus coffee and juices. Less than impressive.
One great thing is, like all the other Centurions, there are power ports everywhere and wifi speed was good also like the other locations. This they have done well.
On to why I think this “studio” idea, especially at this airport, is such a bad idea. The full Centurion lounge concept is amazing. The DFW location is a destination all on its own. The new MIA one, while smaller, is a great fun place to visit and worth spending time in before a flight. The SFO location, while SPA-less, has great food and an amazing wine selection to enjoy. The point is all of these are amazing locations. They are so far above, not just other lounges at their respective airports, but above most any lounge in the USA. They are not just better but like comparing PRO baseball to AAA or even AA ball!
Now we have the SEA Studio. Why? Why be less than most of the lounges at SEA. The Delta SkyClub is better than this lounge (just farther away) . The Alaska club, around the corner while often very busy, is better than this. The CLUB at SEA (that I will review soon) is WAY better than this lounge and not too far away. I hope you see my point. AMEX has built, not something unique, special and better than anything else at the airport, but the smallest and least impressive lounge at the airport? Why?
Bottom line, if all the other clubs are closed, and this is the only lounge still open for some reason, then yes please go here. If not, just don’t. There are much better options at SEA airport for you to enjoy! – Rene

Just one suggestion. Would it be possible for you to increase the size of your pictures? Atleast on my laptop (16″), the pictures look tiny in width compared to the width of the text.

I wish I knew you were going to be at SeaTac as I would have tried to come by and say hello. It is true the SEA Studio is limited but it is convenient if you are on Delta out of B or A1-5 gates as the other options are farther away especially the SkyClub
@JAck – Last visit I had time to pop in to this and the next lounge and then back out. Most visits are 1hr or less hate to say. Need to come for a longer visit one day. Some day 🙂

Less impressive than other Seattle lounges? Other than space I have a hard time understanding how the Skyclub and Boardroom are better lounges. The beer and wine selection in centurion is far better than Skyclub, and on par if not better than the last time I visited the boardroom. The snacks are local, and far better with theo’s chocolates and good bread.
It could be my local Seattle bias, but I’ll hit the studio every time I can when I don’t depart from S.
@Richard – You may not have been to the Skyclub for while but the comp stuff is MUCH better then it was in the past. Not sure how ONE red blend at the Centurion is “better”.
