Well maybe there are some silver  GOLD  linings to revenue based SkyMiles changes because SkyMiles round trip award tickets to Europe for just 42,000 points is amazing plus I am seeing very open space this fall. With a HT to reader Addie take a look at some of these:

atl to dus 42k miles

atl to ams 42k rt

atl to ams 21k

atl to dus one-way 21k

I am seeing these prices both round trip and one-way! I have no idea if this is a glitch or a real change. If a real change I am stunned and thrilled. I would BOOK NOW if you have plans or if you are Platinum or Diamond medallion and can cancel free!

BTW I have NOT found such amazing lower than LEVEL 1 prices for business class but will keep looking.

atl to ams biz 106k rt

atl to ams biz 106k rt dates

Edit: Now found 106,000 RT in business class from Atlanta and 87,000 from NYC! WoW welcome to pre-devaluations! BTW this seems only to be open to ELITES and those who HOLD a personal or business Delta AMEX card so make sure you log in with your SkyMiles number and your card is in your profile correctly!

Call this one #Developing. I am in shock and THRILLED! You? – Rene

I guess I was wrong, there ARE times FCM is worth it for a flyer (just not very often)! Should you buy a 1st class upgrade or not.

    René –

Just curious. When you are searching for some of these, are you using your FF number always, or do you use your wife’s, or try incognito private tabs? Wondering if you might see different results from other perspectives.

@Laptoptravel – I was logged in as Diamond. I hope reader will let me know if they find other numbers as a return to more space for elites would be amazing!

I’m not seeing this for any of the dates in your screenshots. The best I am finding is 30k one-way/60k round-trip.

“@Rob – Seems to only be for ELITES at first glance.”

So, Delta really does show us some love?
That would be good (for a change) 😉

Now seeing same but from home airport as well. Not just hubs or non-stops.
See LHR, AMS, DUS, MUC, FRA so far. Some even in Jan, Feb, early March for most. Stunned.

I’m logged in as Silver and seeing NYC to AMS business class for the low rate through December and January. I even see the same rates for less dates from CVG (CV friggin G) to AMS in business.
43500 for long layovers in DTW (from the CVG), I can get the much better 1:40 layover in CDG for 58500. So not super but better than the standard 1 way business rate of 62500

@yanky – Not seeing the same numbers logged in or not logged in for my wife who has currently NO Delta status. But even those who are Silvers are reporting finding the same low numbers so that is GREAT news!

@Mordechai – That is an amazing fact if it is a return of perks for either
      .
      A)Elites
      B)A Delta AMEX card!
      .
I need more data. Anyone else NO status but Delta AMEX card can chime in? #EXCITING! 🙂

@Don in ATL – Well maybe. I would love to take any kind of credit but this could just be part of the move to REV based but then again I am so happy I can hardly stand myself. Been a LONG TIME since I felt this good about my dear Delta 🙂

I’m seeing a lot of sub-125K options not only on partner flights, but Delta metal as well. That’s right, below “low-level” awards on DELTA METAL. I must be dreaming.

(Feel free to merge with previous post, I hit the post button by accident).

January is wide open with 43.5K one-ways to AMS, LHR, CDG, FRA, and BRU, out of CVG.

Most of Europe can be had at sub-62.5K prices.

SAN – CDG is 48,000 miles in economy with decent availability in February. Business is 100,000 with a few dates in February. Now, on AA it’s only 40,000 miles in economy and it’s wide open. Plus I get 10% of my miles returned because of the Aviator card. So AA’s normal economy ticket for these low season dates would be 36,000 miles. Business would be 100,000 – 10% = 90,000 miles. Why is everyone excited about this?
