Running two blogs has become more of a pain than a useful tool for readers. Please know nothing is really changing regarding the mileage run blog, just that is being folded into the main Delta Points blog. What does this mean for you? Really not all that much.
As you can see at the top of the blog there is a new “tab” called “Mileage Run Deals“. This will basically be the new home for the old Delta Mileage Run blog. The blog will, in effect, be a blog inside a blog. Confusing? I hope not. 🙂
You can still simply type in www.DeltaMileageRun.com and it will redirect you to the right place to find great Delta CPM (cost / cents per mile) runs. But, at some point down the road, you may see some Alaska ONLY or American ONLY deals as well (not 100% of this yet and for now sticking with ONLY posting Delta Mileage Run deals).
The twitter account for run only deals will not change either, that is, you will not see any Delta Points posts on the DeltaMileageRun twitter page just more great deals on runs.
A few words of warning.
As this integration / migration is completed there may be some very strange things going on and I am sure there will be some bugs to work out (like the accidental tweeting of old deals in rapid succession yesterday – sorry). Please let me know if you see any the BA team and I will knock them out one by one. Also thanks for your patience and understanding while we finish the tweaks and changes! – René
