In case you have not noticed, Delta has spiffed up the graphics on the Skybonus website. Not much new as far as functionality, but the info is a bit simpler to see.
These changes are good and needed since so many folks may still have well over a year’s worth of missing Skybonus points or may have even been incorrectly kicked out of the program due to missing flights that never posted.
But on to the question of the day – why does Delta not also hide the Skybonus charts after the devious move of hiding the SkyMiles award charts?
I am really not trying to be silly about this. After all, we all know the online SkyMiles award booking page is beyond broken so we can not trust it. With Skybonus we have to call but why not just have them tell us how many points whatever it is we want will be? That way Delta can change them all they want without any issues when it comes to the price of any kind of award.
Now clearly this would not be a popular move just like removing the SkyMiles charts, but why have two sets of standards. Does this not create confusion with flyers that there are award charts for business redemption but not for personal redemption?
Anyway I would love your input. Should Delta also remove the Skybonus award redemption charts? – René
