This is just so kool! I have always wanted to do something like this and I will be on Friday May 1st after the Freddie’s in Atlanta. You, and a friend, can join us and a bunch of Delta folks.
Normally I am not a fan of spending my SkyMiles on anything but flying, but in this case I will make an exception because the cause is really great, the event is so neat, and with not all that many bidding, and the bidding ending tomorrow, Monday 2PM ET on all 9 of the auctions, you should be able to get in for a very reasonable amount of points!
You will get: “A spot for you and one (1) guest to compete as part of a team of 20 in the Delta Jet Drag at the Delta Technical Operations Center on Friday, May 1st between 9:00am and 10:00am”
This will sure be a fun start to the day before the Delta Points reader dinner later on the same day 1 MAY 2015.

I won my bid! Work isn’t happy that I’ll be missing for a couple days, but our HR person thinks it’s cool. I’ll know in a couple hours if somebody I know is going to go with me, as the rules say they have to have the complete names etc, tomorrow. Either way, I’m going. Sounds like an all day event, but at least I’ll be in Atlanta for dinner that night LOL.
