Hopefully you signed up for the improved Hertz perks as a medallions. Now it does not seem that anyone actually HAS the perks yet, but they should soon be loading. But also a word of caution. For this promo to work you must have your Hertz number in your My Delta profile. You can see above where it should go. Missed it? Go enter it now.
I am eagerly awaiting the 10 free GoGo passes promised to come soon from my non-Delta AMEX Business Platinum card. No, they are not available yet. I have been told there will be a link to get them soon. But until then, I have a need for one and called the number on the back of my card and asked just when this new perk was coming. Again I was told soon, but the rep was happy to offer me a $16 credit to buy a one day pass for now. Nice, and thanks AMEX!
Just because I am getting tons of emails and tweets a day I want to reiterate about rollover MQMs. I am sorry you don’t have yours yet, but Delta has been doing them VERY slowly this year and has not promised to get them done until month end. I do wish they had done them all in a day or so like in years past. Yes, frustrating. I hear you. What can we do? What we CAN do is, like me, work on getting our MQD exempt spending done! 😉
While I am LOATH to even talk about this, you have just about a week under the extended BUY MQMs that will apply to LAST YEAR’S numbers. PLEASE understand they will NOT apply on this year unless they will rollover. If you do not understand this, ask me please before you buy. You could flush a ton of cash and get nothing for it. Clear?
While still over a month away, there have been lots of schedule changes loaded as of late. If you are going to drop in status on 1MARCH15 you may want to check NOW as those C+ or exit or whatever preferred seats you pick now will stick after 1MARCH15 even if you drop. However, if there is another change or a change of equipment before you fly those changes will NOT stick then.
That is about it for now. There seems to be more big news on the way soon btw with more devaluations coming for medallions. Can’t blog about it yet but stay tuned.- René
