If you have not yet checked your in-box today, there is more than likely an email from Delta apologizing to you for your issue you just had (even if you did not fly recently) and an offer for some amount of miles. When you click on that link you go to:
The link does not work because the email was a mistake. Sorry! No miles for you. Depending your status you may have been offered less than the 5000 miles email you see above. But again, it should not have gone out anyway.
I have not been on a Delta jet all year and I got an email as well, just no points for the apology email.
My link went to some private page on “TakingOff” the “other” Delta blog (the real one from Delta CORP that is).
And lastly DeltaAssist did chime in on twitter and mention all of this is due to a promotion email that went out that should not have or clearly had some kind of bug.
Anyway, don’t expect to get any points from Delta over this one and you can go about your business. Oh, like the fact that we (well me anyway) can all PARTY over the AMAZING news that CRJ700’s are coming to SBN airport! – René

Are you able to get into the skyclubs with a Reserve card if your not flying Delta? How about the Amex Platinum card? Need to make a quick trip this weekend and will not be flying delta, but do want some skyclub time if I can get in without a Delta ticket.

Even the NON-Delta AMEX Platinum card need to be with corresponding airline. But this card also come with Priority Pass that gets you much access!
BTW Delta did a take-two on their offer. 5k miles posted to my acct.
