dfw to las

dfw to las via dtw delta-com coach

dfw to las 1st class

dfw to las delta-com 1st

two days of flying with multisearch

If the days were different I would be all over this one (& a HT to FT). The price is very nice and well below our 4CPM Skymiles2015 cap for coach and 8CPM in 1st. I would  look at the 1st class price one despite limited dates. But what you REALLY should consider this in coach for an AMAZING 2 trips for 20k redemption for just $94 out of pocket for you i.e. keeping two trips on one PNR under $400! As you can see, and you can do it at FlexPerk redemption as well, you can do two trips with a day off in the middle (to enjoy the Centurion Lounge) and pick up a BOATLOAD of MQMs! Here is the one day trip!

Cost $194

5,472 MQMs at 3.5CPM

Bookable on Delta.com

Any questions on this one? Fire away but do look at all the options as this is an AMAZING shot and a fun run with TWO nice Centurion lounge visits and 2 tickets for 20k FlexPerks is just sweet! 😉

PS – I have booked one of these – E-Mail me if you want dates etc!

But how do we get to Dallas easily/cheaply?

@Mark – I used FlexPerks points for mine. Some can use Avios or even that or a combo of that and Skymiles one way award to position.

I don’t have any flexperks yet (next card on the list), but even if I did, I would consider them a currency of sorts and sometimes (often?) MR positioning flights are expensive and the cost of the positioning flight, even in flexperks, needs to be accounted for in the average CPM of the MR.

@Mark – I have always had GREAT success finding award tickets I want with Delta. So, for me, I would rather burn FlexPerks for runs and use points when I travel for fun. Plus, the flexibility as a Diamond makes award tickets worth SO much more.

I routinely find flights from Atlanta to Dallas for under $200, I can then choose to pay for them with Citi Thank You Points or Chase Ultimate Rewards®. I just did that in December and had a nice trip, chilled out in the DFW Centurion Lounge both arriving and leaving.

But I’m in South Florida (MIA, FLL, PBI) and don’t see cheap flights to DFW

Try using Google flight search multi city, I built this trip using those three cities:

    Rene,
I found $184 RT from SAN to DFW in Feb and Mar, via SLC and DTW–4,557 MQMs at 4.04 CPM. Plenty of availability. Might be able to route via DTW on both outbound and inbound, but I couldn’t find any flights for the $184 price.
