weekend ord to phx

ord to phx

This is a good post talking more and more about Skymiles2015. I have and continue to mull around in my brain what should be the limit of what I post. I also have reader feedback on the fact that they are willing to pay a “little more” for weekend runs. So here is my plan since Skymiles are not a factor at all next year.

Max limit to  post sub 4CPM weekdays coach

Max limit to  post sub 6CPM weekends coach

Max limit to  post sub 8CPM weekdays 1st/business

Max limit to  post sub 10CPM weekends 1st/business

What do you all think? Numbers you all are happy to live with and see on the blog for 2015? Too high? Too low? About right? You tell me.

So with that in mind, check out this one. I like it as it is a weekend and it is ALL in one day and NO redeye (speaking of RedEyes should get be better or worse in the max numbers). You have two Saturdays you could book this and pick up over 8k MQMs for just over $400 as you see ab0ve. Here are the numbers:

Cost $208

4,342 MQMs at 4.8CPM

Bookable on Delta.com

I really appreciate any input you have to the questions above. As to the question about a Alaska MR page or AA ones – let’s wait to see where I end up and if I decide to change from Delta at some point in 2015. For now I am staying put! 😉

Out of curiosity, were most Weekend MRs below 6 cpm? For those that can only MR on weekends, I suspect we ( and certainly I) would tolerate a bit higher cpm for coach, up to 8.

As always, all of yor work is much appreciated.

Your proposed numbers for the boundaries of runs which you will post make good sense. Bring it on!

      @Corbett – my thanks!
@John Delta – great idea until 1JAN yes!
@Rob – Txs I will keep that in mind. Under 2014 I would be 100% fine with 8CPM for weekend.

    Rene,

My only short-term suggestion is would you please preface each mileage run post with “2014” or “2015” so we can immediately identify the run period in our email notifications?

For example, this post would be ‘re-titled as.

2015 Chicago to Phoenix $208 & 4342MQMs at 4.8CPM weekend Delta Mileage Run

Thanks a bunch from Hong Kong on my 80,000 miles (48,000 MQM’s) mileage run!
