Gosh I love UBER e-mail’s telling me places I so want to use UBER now will have UBER. During my recent BoardingArea BAcon14 conference I so wished we had UBER. We could have saved a TON of money around town and just the ability to call for an UBER anytime I want is the best. Now Las Vegas, of all places, is getting UBER (and the clouds part and singing starts)!
Be sure, as I have touched on before, if you want to use the cheaper UBERx at airports, to just move the little GPS pointer away from where you are and then text the driver where you really are (I normally go up to Departures as there are less issues being picked up there compared to Arrivals).
Anyway, I am beyond thrilled UBER is in Vegas and if you want $30 off your first ride you can use my UBER link to get it (we both get $30 credit towards a ride btw)! – René

According to this site: http://knprnews.org/post/ubers-roll-nevada, No pickups at airport or strip (drop-offs only) for now. I would guess nearly all rides for visitors start at airport or strip so not especially helpful for tourists (for now).
@Brian – that is the case at almost ALL airports, thus my tip in the post? 😉
Rene the problem with your response is that you are asking the Uber driver to risk a ticket to pick you up. Maybe you have luck with that some places… at LAX which I use it usually won’t work as the airport police actively ticket UberX drivers (Uber black cars have the right permits so they are allowed).
