Wow there was a lot of interest in this week’s giveaway and some really good comments from nearly 300 readers! I thank you all for the input.
First let me congratulate, via random.org, #97 that is, Cathy Mayfield who is this week’s winner. Cathy said, regarding the Delta FAs handing out Delta AMEX GOLD card forms:
It didn’t bother me, but I have noticed that its one less annoyance in the time before deplaning. It seems that there is so much chaos in boarding and deplaning nowadays. Maybe its just the sheer numbers of passengers. I did not realize that FA’s were compensated and that it would be yet another blow to their income.
And this was much the feeling of most readers. Most, like me, were not really bothered by it that much. We did not know that FAs got a commission rather than Delta making the money on the forms.
We ARE, however, VERY annoyed about the LOUD and frustrating (nonturnoffable <— is that a word?) IFE ads that Delta is now running pre-flight, pre-movie, pre-landing and pre-everything! Nothing like taking something we were not all that upset with and trading it for something we despise! #KeeepDescending worthy, dear Delta!
