US Bank FlexPerks card is following what AMEX did with the Delta AMEX cards a while back, that is, removing the international fee for using the card abroad. This is (about time) good news as this is a card with a chip that I have used when traveling. They don’t have a PIN yet like the Barclays Arrival+ card that has worked really well and also does not have international fees.
Having said all that, there are few cards that I use that make it so cheap to pay for positioning flights for mileage runs. To be able to get a $400 for max $94 out of pocket is real value to me who is interested in earning MQMs, Skymiles (or SkyPesos if you like) for spending points and working on keeping my Delta status year after year! – René
