I will be in Atlanta on the Friday the 25th of July and will be spending some time with Delta folks during the day, but after that I would love to visit with Atlanta area (or flying through) readers.

This will not be a “DO” in the sense that there will be no speakers or such, just a get together to share time talking about points and Delta as well as a chance to get to know me and and my friend MJ, a fellow BA blogger and Delta Platinum Medallion. We may have some other BA bloggers there – time will tell.

Then, on Saturday the 26th of July I plan to be at the Delta flight museum at 10:AM sharp to tour the facility before I fly back home later that day. The museum is located right next door to the airport so it is a quick UBER ride there.

Where are we dining? Not sure yet but I will update this post when we know. How many are we going to be? I don’t want this to get out of hand so we are going to cap this at 20 max for the dinner & museum visit. You can e-Mail me if you can confirm you can attend. There is no cost to attend as all will be responsible for their own tabs as well as the $6 entrance to the museum. There is also a $100 upcharge for a PVT tour of the facility and Delta Points will be paying for that for our group.

Where to stay nearby? IHG has a number of hotels nearby for 15k points. SPG is even better with the Westin & Sheraton ATL airport locations both at just 3k SPG points per night. Most of the Hiltons are 20k range but a few farther away as low as 10k points. Hyatt folks are looking at 5-8k for some airport locations. Anyway, you all can pick whatever you want!
