Someone in my family was always late. Late for just about everything. Another one was always early; often a lot early. I don’t like stress so I have adopted the latter in my life. 1-2hrs early for a flight? No problem, I can relax and enjoy rather than starting a trip stressed-out.
Same goes for my MQMs or Medallion Qualifying Miles. I will end the year with an extra 100k+ to rollover. I like being early. But some are procrastinators. I get that life does tend to get in the way sometimes.
For a chance to win, via Random.org, all I need from you is to tell me – are you a procrastinator or not? Be honest now, neither answer will improve your chance to win! – Rene

I am NOT a Delta/sky team
Procrastinator if #time is on my side
🙂
Best blog!
Not usually one, especially when it comes to flying/travel!
yep
When it comes to travel, I’m not a procrastinator.
When it comes to everything else I am…
!
I tend be early for appointments and important events; however, I might have a tendency to be a procrastinator for some onerous tasks from time to time.
It’s not that I procrastinate… It’s that I have more important things higher on my list that need to be done sooner. Lol. Yeah okay maybe I am a big procrastinator. I tend to put off things in all aspects with the exception of actual travel. When I travel I am always at the airport 1-2 hours earlier than I need to be either because I don’t want to miss my flight or maybe it’s because I just really enjoy the sky club lounge.
Hate to admit it, but yes, I am.
I have my moments of both and usually it’s the opposite of what I need to be at that moment.
Procrastinator! Except this time as I am I in need of some swag”
When it comes to booking flights I sometimes procrastinate. I wish all airlines had policies like jetblue allowing you to call and receive a full credit of the difference if your flight price dropped after purchase.
As with most people it depends. For time certain events almost always early.
Definitely a procrastinator. I’m getting married next weekend, and there are many things left to do!
I did, however, have the honeymoon planed a year ahead of time (utilizing miles, points, and free room certs…obviously).
I hate to admit it Rene but I’m a procrastinator. This is for your swag from last week, right? 🙂
Only in some domains.
No, I like to fly as far as I can as soon as I can.
Procrastinator on everything but MQM’s.
Definitely a procrastinator!
I am not a procrastinator for travel but my wife makes up for both of us.
Definitely not, I tend to be on the early side. Not gate lice early, but enough to feel relaxed in the boarding process.
I’m not. Of course I’m not. But let me think about it for a while and I’ll get back to you…
I am not a procrastinator and I like to get to the airport early so I am not stressed.
On balance, I am not. I do hate yard work though, so I do attempt to put that off
Yes, but not when I travel – the consequences are too ugly!
Procrastinator. Definitely like to wait (except for boarding, then I’m an early bird)
I do tend to put things off, but most of the time I perform better with a bit of pressure on me to get er done.
For some things, yes; others no
I am a procrastinator, but that said, I do my best work at the last minute.
Hmmmm I can be a procrastinator when getting ready to go out for a night on the town lol but when it comes to travel? NO! For example: I like to book my flights on sale or atleast quite a few months in advance 😀
I am definitely a procrastinator!! Unfortunately that often costs me $ on things like flights since I tend to book last minute. :/
Yes, especially when it comes to school work
Yes.
Sorry to admit it, yes.
I will tell you later….
Absolutely, why do today what you can put off until tomorrow.
Nope, especially when it comes to planning and booking travel.
I am a procrastinator in almost everything except getting skymiles before 1/1/15 a day that will live in infamy.
Yes, with making travel arrangements, which really costs me money sometimes.
Yes I am.
No way! I plan out everything and finish ahead of time.
Absolutely
Who isn’t?
Yes I am.
Big time procrastinator.
Unfortunately, yes
Total procrastinator. In fact I kept putting off posting for last week’s swag Saturday. I will end the year with 65K+ MQM for rollover but that’s about it, besides travel I am all over the place.
yes, i am
Definitely a procrastinator
Absolutely. I’m surprised I got around to commenting on this.
I am not a procrastinator. I usually meet my credit card spend in just a couple of months.
Yep. Read this post 4 hours ago and just now commenting on it.
Definitely a procrastinator but that’s when my best work comes out because I’m under pressure and all stressed out lol
Not so much anymore, though some of the really unpleaasant tasks I must do at my medical job get put off for a few days. I like a clean slate.
i tend to be a procrastinator, but I arrive early for flights to reduce that stress
No way . . . I am so organized and like to be timely I am bordering on being obsessive.
In general, yes, I tend to procrastinate. However, I like to get to the airport very early – particularly if I’m relaxing in the Skyclub.
Depends on what….it’s all about prioritizing. In order to be on the ball, there are a few things that require immediate attention but the rest can wait!
I plan to go to a – Procrastinators Anonymous meeting, but I keep putting it off.
No
Rarely do I procrastinate, but if and when I do, especially purchasing a ticket, I live to regret it!
I have a natural tendency to procrastinate, but work hard not to. As far as flying, I don’t procrastinate. I get there early so I don’t have to stress out about being late.
I tend to procrastinate, except when I see cheap fares. Then I just buy and figure it out later.
When it comes to travel, I’m pretty much a procrastinator but when it comes to everything else I’m not.
Nope, like to be early
Big procrastinator
i’m a procrastinator for sure, just applied to 60k ink
I’m not about travel and credit cards but can be about other tasks that I don’t care to do, like work. 🙂
not a procrastinator at all. i plan weeks in advance
I’ll tell you later…
Yes I am
Procrastinator here. Technology has enabled me to do that. Because so many things can be done online, I put stuff off. I live off my digital calendar, and if I forget to put something to do into it, it never gets done. When I do put stuff into it, and I’m electronically alerted to accomplish something, it’s too easy to just swipe it away…
I’ll be sure to provide you a detailed answer this question…….later.
Of course I am, and Delta made me that way by waiting on “enhancements”.
No.
I put the “pro” in procrastinator. I am definitely a pro…in fact, I hesitated to comment. My husband is on the other end of the spectrum so it kinda evens out in the end.
I will comment later.
I am nearly always early while the other half is not. Makes life interesting when we travel together.
When it comes to travel, I’m mostly a non-procrastinator. Some other things, like cutting the lawn, I fall a bit farther behind 🙂
Enjoy the blog – thanks for the good info.
I like to be early when I’m traveling…enjoy waiting in the Skyclub. Sometimes I put off other tasks.
Well, I would like to think I’m on time for everything – but with so many things in my life, I once was late for my flight (jut because I didn’t wake up), came to class to realize that our professor was announcing an exam I did not study for 🙂 although with the cc spend I’m good and on time!
Work -yes
Travel-no!
Honestly, I procrastinate all the time. Bad habits are hard to break. I’ll fix it tomorrow.
I was going to comment later but went ahead just got it over with.
My name’s pawtim, and I’m a procrastinator!
No
I’m pretty organized, but whether I procrastinate or not depends on the scenario. Mostly I am not a procrastinator.
I’m not a procrastinator for most things.
Yes, I procrastinate about nearly everything, and it hate it.
A recovering procrastinator!
Nope. I like to get to the airport early and relax.
I definitely am
Nope – be prepared!
I used to be when I was younger. I think I’ve grown less tolerant of stress over time.
Was gonna reply later but that would have been procrastinating and Sunday… so no not a procrastinator got my Ink and ready to crush this bonus.
I am and its horrible.
Especially when booking flights, I wait and wait so then the price goes up and i miss options.
Thanks!
I am really not, fortunately.
Of course — if time allows 🙂
Thankfully no, not a procrastinator … leads to too much stress.
I try not to procrastinate, too stressful.
Yes
I am absolutely a procrastinator
I most certainly am.
I am not a procrastinator.
No. Never.
Yes indeed 🙂
Oh yes I am…..
Not me. I like to get things done early whenever possible.
Yes, but I am a very calculated procrastinator.
I am not a procrastinator.
Totally a procrastinator! I’m working hard to force myself to plan ahead and change my ways though.
Growing up I suffered because others in my family were really bad procrastinators so as an adult I am the opposite!
I procrastinate packing, otherwise I believe in getting negative things over with!
I am usually a procrastinator but I am getting rid of all my Delta Sky Miles by going to Florida from Newark. I have not been able to otherwise schedule a flight with them for years!
No procrastinator here …
As my father used to say, “if I’m 10 minutes early, then I’m 5 minutes late.”
Let me get back to you tomorrow on this one! 🙂
No, I have too much to do.
I meant to answer this yesterday but didn’t get around to it.
Yes, I am.
It depends on what the task is. I never put off travel related or work stuff. I don’t like to rush so I’m always at the airport early. Now, when it comes to cleaning up the basement, that is another matter!
only on things i really dislike,
Depending on the subject matter, yes I am
Yes and No…haha if it’s really important to me I will take care of it asap!
For somethings I am, for others I’m not 🙂
No, especially if its something that interests me.
Definitely not while traveling but probably with booking tickets!
NOT a procrastinator; I’m the guy at the airport three hours early….
I am an early bird, rarely late for anything.
Being a procrastinator makes my house really clean cause I end up doing that instead of what I really need to do
Nope, love the feeling of checking something off of my to do list!
I am definitely a procrastinator when it comes to non travel related things. But all things travel I’m always eager to get a jump on booking that next vacation or MR.
I’m only a procrastinator when it comes to insignificant tasks.
Not when it comes to travel!
Yes. Still haven’t filed my taxes yet.
I procrastinate with schoolwork mostly but tend to be a couple hours early for flights.
It depends. Here it is Sunday, and I am answering SWAG Saturday. However, for a flight, I would be early and enjoying the club.
Yes.
Unfortunately, I do tend to procrastinate. When it comes to air travel it makes it easier to do out of Omaha which is not a busy airport and is only a 10 minute drive (at most) from our house.
No, love to make a list of to do items and knock them off as quickly as possible.
Yes! I always catch my flight at the last minute. but so far has not missed one yet!
Procrastinastor? No way, but I can wait past the last minute…..
Sometimes. Maybe.
Not only am I a serious procrastinator, I have unfortunately passed that gene to my two kids… ugh!
On the work side of life, definitely not. However, on the personal side, sometimes I am a procrastinator. I probably should switch that around…
No. I prioritize doing the things I least like doing FIRST then doing the easy fun stuff is like dessert.
Yes. !!
Guilty – Procrastinator
Never! I already have my 2015 work schedule and 2015 holiday schedule done (subject to additions)!
I am definitely not a procrastinator. I am a planner and my husband thinks I am crazy until he reaps all the benefits.
Overall I’d say no.
I always give myself extra time and am not a procrastinator.
Yes. Definite a procrastinator
I am, it’s terrible. Almost forgot to answer this post to qualify for the SWAG 🙂
i go back and forth
Sometimes….
Yes ! For paperwork !!
In general… yes. Yes I am.
Yes I am
Not a procrastinator
Procrastinator? Thats me
yes
Procrastinator for sure
I may prognosticate in planning my trips but once then plans are set I like to be early.
No, not me
Always a procrastinator. I usually don’t get around to replying to your SWAG posts until several days *after* you’ve announced a winner! 🙂
I’m one who gets to appointments early. If I’m not five minutes early, I consider myself as late. A pet peeve is when people arrive twenty minutes late and never mention it. However, those who constantly run late seem to miss a flight. Go figure!
Yeah with some stuff, but I’m never late to appointments.
if it comes to reducing all of my stuff then YES!
Yes, definitely.
I don’t procratinate as a rule, but I suppose it’s all relative to who’s keeping tabs.
Yes, totally!
No, not at all.
Yes, bigtime.
I guess I am a procrastinator. Putting my weekly highlight posting to my boss off until tomorrow morning.
Rather read Rene’s post.
Wait. Let me think about it.
I’m a procrastinator.
My ex used to get tired of asking me to do something and I would answer I’ll do it tomorrow. So finally she snapped and threatened that if I said I’ll do it tomorrow one more time there would be hell to pay.
So she asked me again and since I did not want to make her mad I told her” Sure Honey, I’ll do it next week.”
True story.
