First, just as an FYI, I can refer you to Skybonus and we can BOTH get 5,000 Skybonus points if you then buy a ticket and fly by the end of June. If you want to get in on the deal and it ends TOMORROW.
Next, let me ask you a question. Have you ever had a ticket reissued due to a schedule change, SDC or other event and Delta creates a new ticket number for you? Now your PNR stays the same. Plus, after your trip, under most circumstances you just get your Skymiles and are happy.
But what about your Skybonus. I have noticed some tickets have not been posting or not at all. So, especially after my last 1st class run “to nowhere” with reader Graydon that had a bunch of changes, I wanted to get credit. I got this very helpful reply from Delta.
It truly is a simple thing to enter in the new ticket numbers (must be logged in to see page btw) and they should all show up in your Skymiles page from the flights so it is just a cut-N-paste thing that takes no time at all.
Be sure you check you CrossoverRewards, your Skybonus and Skymiles as we all want to get each point we can! – René
