Just a quick update that I noticed today logging in to my updated (2.6.1) Android “Fly Delta” phone app that my digital Skyclub card now shows if you have the individual or the executive membership.
This can be very handy if you are a Diamond Medallion and happen to run into a Skyclub door rep (AKA dragons guarding the gate) who wants to charge you $29.00 for your +1’s. We do have executive access until the end of this medallion year that is until 1MARCH2015.
You may also note a little bug in the software as I have already re-qualified for my 2015 Diamond Medallion status (that ends 1FEB2016) and yet the digital card tells me my executive membership is good till that date (took a quick screen shot just in case). 😉
If you are running i-phone stuff you may want to update your app as some are saying the older i-phone version is not showing this updated info correctly. Enjoy! – René

Thanks Rene, I did not know that Diamonds were excluded from the guest fee for 2 immediate family members. Good to know. .
@cyndi – just for THIS Medallion year. Next year we are NOT excluded!
Rene, Is anyone saying if the Skyclubs are less crowded after May 1st. It seems they would be but I haven’t noticed any comments.
Purely anecdotal – only a couple of long mid-day layovers in SLC and two early mornings in TPA since May 1st, but I did notice more open seats, and a total absence of rug rats.
