The price on this is tops but there are many things to watch out for before you go booking crazy. Routing via NYC & LAX gives best CPM but also most also need an overnight. You may want to look at MSP or DTW routes to try to avoid hotels. There are many open dates all year long and even into 2015 (SAME MQMs but much less Skymiles )! Also some legs may be NON-upgradeable so WATCH OUT for those if important to you. Here are the numbers:
Cost $323 (or maybe a little more)
8833MQMs at 3.7CPM
Bookable on Delta.com
DM yields a SWEET 19,874 Skymiles per CWSI.net!
Clearly PRE-2015 the big Skymiles yield for medallion does pay for most of the ticket price but this is they type of deal we will have to find next year aka sub 4CPM to make the MQMs a good value. I would love to do this one but I would want to overnight in SXM to have a day on Maho Beach and sit by the bar and watch idiots get blown into the ocean! 🙂
PS – Shamless plug to support the blog – need to stay at SXM? The Radison is nice and you can stay on Club Carlson points! (EDIT: RB has been sold on SXM).

Ridiculous the amount of travel time it takes to get to the Caribbean from the west coast. But going to the Caribbean is so much better than going to Hawaii.
@Jeff – agreed but in the case it is good for us who want points. i like the water in the caribbean much batter.
