I love Skybonus. The rewards are not amazing and it takes a lot of points to redeem for anything other than drink coupons but the instruments are relatively easy to use and why not get the points free as with Skybonus points, CrossoverRewards and Skymiles you are 3x-ing each flight.
The latest round are all double or 2x promotions (you have to be logged in 1st btw) and there is no risk in registering for them all even if you do not think you will fly these routes.
As a side note, several readers who have had their Skybonus shut down at the end of the year have told me they have had them reactive and/or got their old points back. It may be worth a few extra e-mails if you were one of those. – René

No promos for my company’s profile
@Jake – really! Huh. I thought they were all the same across the board. Txs for feedback.
worse news.
I tried to log and got a message that my account was ‘deactivated’ and to call.
when I did so I was told that since I did not spend $5,000 on tickets last years, my account was frozen and I could not use any of the points in it until I spent $5,000 in a single year and reactivated it.
so I lost 50,000 points.
Thanks for the heads up. I have a trip to CDG during this time frame and I will fly Business Elite (employer paid). Business class (mid June) would be around $3K either CDG direct or through AMS.
I only had the SEA – (HKD, HND, ICN, LHR) and JFK – NRT promos.
These vary by account – I have 15 new ones showing and list has been less than you have posted on some other occasions.
I wonder how they determine account promotions…hmmm
I’m actually VERY surprised they differentiate between SB accounts
