This is a bit of an odd situation, but I wanted to bring it to your attention. KLM has offered FREE changes due to the Nuclear Security Summit Amsterdam Airport on 24&25 March 2014 due to the fact that there will be major travel disruptions as you can see for yourself. KLM says Delta flights are included.
However, I reached out to Delta about this and was told Delta does not have a similar waiver for changes in place. If you are concerned about this I would push Delta about it and ask for a supervisor for a free change since KLM thinks it is an issue and is offering free changes.
Then again I would not be surprised for Delta at the last minute to update the travel advisory page to also offer a similar waiver. Travel safe everyone – René

Yeah, It’s going to be a pain on the roads and possibly public transport as well.
