delta points monthly news letter

I hate winter; I love skiing but I am at that age that I am sick of cold. I am also sick all the canceled flights, crazy storms and on and on. Just think, we are one month into MQDs and now just 11 months away for 2015. With that in mind, let’s look at what happened this month so far:

➥ What will count for MQD exempt spending? The tested results!

➥ Did you miss the Delta MISTAKE fare deal? Why not earn your own?

➥ Are you thinking about leaving Delta over all the changes? Think twice.

➥ A Fireside chat with AJ from Live from a Lounge

➥ What are Delta’s bag fee rules with paying with a NON-Delta credit card?

➥ Just what would it cost Delta to rollover MQDs and MQSs?

➥ Hey the 30% off GoGo code is still working! Sweet!

➥ Are you ready for Delta slim-line seats? They are on the way.

➥ What is the best way to complain to get points?

➥ A guest post from reader Lars-Eric about Delta mileage runs!

➥ A review of the Candelwood Suites Kenosha WI near MKE

➥ Want to use more then 1 device on GoGo? You can via BlueTooth!

➥ Delta has our “back pocket” with Skyclub price increases!

➥ Delta sneakily dumps access to many international lounges for elites!

➥ A Fireside chat with Points Miles & Martinis

➥ Always KNOW Delta.com works AGAINST you to find “saver” awards

➥ A workaround to HOLD Delta award seats for a few hours!

➥ An 11,000+MQM mileage run for $300? – YEP!

➥ Say bye-bye to 30 day Skyclub pass and more

➥ NEVER search for more than 1 seat on Delta.com – seriously!

➥ Don’t want to pay $695 for Skyclub, think Alaska Air

➥ Delta IT is so bat that they gave me 25,000 Skymiles!

➥ All the latest NEWS about Delta Air Lines

➥ A Fireside chat with Charlie – Running with Miles

➥ Your cell phone could make/save you 100,000 points a year

➥ KLM reminds us NO LIQUIDS at all to Russia for a while

➥ I won FREE SPG points and you can too!

➥ PLEASE NEVER EVER call the company – EVER!

➥ Have the Delta bump rules changed the way you bump?

➥ Another reason not to bump, the OP-UP

➥ Listen to Rene on Rudy Maxa’s World radio show (700k listen)

➥ A Fireside chat with ADAM – Point me to the Plane

➥ What cards are readers going for next – kool data!

➥ OH NO – Delta Points gets HACKED on Twitter

➥ Free massage at the Skyclub soon? Really?

➥ I love back row coach on United – uh, what?

➥ 100k Citi AA card + BUMP THE BONUS

➥ So just what happens to your points when…?

➥ Readers think I am a jerk, I think Zach is a jerk! 😉

➥ A 14k MQM & 50k Skymiles Hawaii mileage run (with Lisa)

Oy! (as we say in Sweden). What a crazy month! So what is next? What “enhancements” are next with Delta? Will we ever get good news without bad news in the same PR release? I guess we will find out some Friday in February! Are you ready? – René

I am applying for the AmEx Delta Platinum card. Do you know which credit bureau AmEx uses?

@Bob – it depends on what state you live in but in general AMEX pulls 1)Experian but sometimes 2)Equifax or 3)TransUnion
