When I started blogging I posted about once a month a number of contests readers could have a shot at winning. I entered most of them but have never won more than a $100 Visa gift card in about 5 years of trying (but $100 free is still $100 right).
However this one for Volia I bet very few will enter and the reward of ¼ million points is worth a quick like on Facebook for a shot at all those points. While you are on Facebook, why not “Like” DeltaPonts as well as now I am no longer “constrained” about what I can post on Facebook!
On another note I just turned down a bump that could have earned me & Lisa $600 total in Delta Dollars as I did not want to give up a day in Hawaii or my time on the Rudy Maxa radio show from Hawaii that will air on Saturday (my first time on satellite radio interview); maybe a bad choice but I am sick of cold and snow and ready for beach time. Tomorrow I think I will regret giving up the bump. What do you think; did I #fail? – René

More like #opportunity costs! I’d say a Radio show will net you the 500$ or so of exposure those delta dollars are worth to you! plus what the day at the beach is worth! But I’ll happily take 600 DD for a day delay!
Not a fail at all. I’m working in Akron this week and next. It would take more then $600 delta dollars to get me to trade a day in Hawaii for more of this!
Better to miss out on a bump than to have an unhappy wife – I always say!
@GR – and we have a winner 😉
We never, ever volunteer to give up our seats. They were bought and paid for and we wouldn’t give them up for any amount of credits.
I don’t follow the reference/link to “constrained”. What am I missing???
