Much like the Delta travel alerts page, KLM also maintains one to warn us of Skyteam related issues i.e. weather etc. This time they are warning about a rollback of the liquids policy for departing Russia to zero for your carry on luggage.
Ah I remember those days when anything, even a tube of chap-stick was a no-no. And it reminds me of the time my mom tried to “sneak” some sardines onto an AirFrance flight. Oh those were good times 😉
I will not be traveling to Russia to see the Olympics but do look forward to seeing so many of the events on TV like most of us. I love downhill skiing and my Lisa has even skied from the very top of John Paul at Snow Basin that was the mens Olympic ski run start point. I did not as I had the flu (I would not have anyway it was way too steep and scary)! – René
