With a HT to Mommy Points here at BoardingArea.com this one is nice since you end up in Hawaii (why not take a day off on the run or do a same day turn)! Tons of dates – just wide open but I bet this one dies fast. Use ITA Matrix to search the book where you want like Delta.com
You can route via ATL or MSP & LAX or SEA or SFO + more 2x connect as well for a few more points and end up with 10,000+ MQMs round trip! If there is a schedule change maybe via ATL and SEA and get 11,000 MQMs round trip!
Other bits. If you don’t like a good 10-11 hour non-stop flight look for the 3 leg each way to break them up and maybe get more upgrades as keep in mind the TO and FROM HNL flight is not free to upgrade for medallions!
Again 4.1 CPM is not the best price ever, plus you have to position to IAH, but you do get to go to Hawaii (maybe your +1 will put up with a MR to Hawaii? 😉 edit: and Lisa said yes to a MR and we are now going this winter – yeah! ) – René

ITA is coming up blank on me after entering info in search engine. Not sure why. Looking for any deals from Minneapolis!
@shena – must start in IAH
Unfortunately, it costs way too much to get to IAH.
@Bill N – that is why you NEED ARRIVAL points to pay for that part! I will either do that or use my Delta BOGOF cert to position. That way I will earn even MORE MQMs along the way.
Thanks for the heads up… I was up late last night looking for deals in mid Nov for an actual trip to Hawaii and I may be able to make this work instead of burning miles, but the positioning to IAH is what will ultimately determine that…
@Rene – Barclays Arrival credit cards aren’t open to residents of Iowa. What’s up with that?
@Bill – really. Missed that. That, just, it, just stinks! Truly! US Bank FlexPerks is not far behind for such use (when you add back $25 bag=Delta e-Gift buy credit)
