The above photo is the worst photo I have ever published and I am sorry [EDIT: got a better one]. I always mean to take a copy of SKY Magazine with me when I fly each month and always seem to forget. I took a quick shot with my phone so I could get the promo code for the 5000 bonus points, SKY072013, just so I would have it handy. This deal is no where near as good as some of the new sign-up deals in the past, but better than zero right!
Anyway, today both on this post and later in SWAG Saturday at 1:PM EST I am going to talk all about business or specifically small to medium business. With so many things points and promotions, a sole proprietor can earn SKYBONUS points. Same goes for most business credit cards as we will look at later today.
If you have not joined SKYBONUS you can read all about it in THIS post and see if it is for you. If you have joined be sure to check if there are any new bonus deals (must be logged in to see page) you have not yet registered for as you only get the bonus if you have done so before you fly! – René

I have 37,000 SB points that I got somehow. Anyway, some are showing as expiring in 2014. How can I extend them so they don’t disappear?
@Get – you can’t. Spend them 🙂

Re the bonus deals registration: Generally you only get the bonus if you register before you BUY, not before you fly. Once you bought the ticket it’s too late.
Rene –
Are those really the current promos for Skybonus or is this an old screenshot? I am not seeing same promos on my account.
@MR. H – These are a few months old in the screen shot but it is always good to look what are the current ones as well as any targeted ones for your account. I try to check before I fly each time in the Skyclub before I board. Takes seconds.
Do you need a TaxID or VAT #, or will SSN work?
@Jake – take a look at the linked post about Skybonus for all the info about Skybonus but short answer is yes SSN will work fine for a sole proprietor.
Thanks for the quick response!
