I plan to get the Delta Reserve Business in December for the 10K MQM sign-up bonus to put me over the top for Platinum for 2014.
I plan to upgrade Delta SkyMiles Gold to Platinum for the 5k/5k Bonus.
I am working on the brand new Ink Plus 60k card I just received
AmEx Delta Platinum – for all the benefits
SPG becuz of the 5000 bonus miles when you transfer 20000 to an airline.
SPG Amex. Need points for hotel in The Seychelles to use on a mistake fare trip I booked.
How about the “what’s in your wallet?”card because i like guys with beards!
Delta platinum – need some extra mqm’s for diamond and sign up bonus helps.
It won’t be the US Bank Flex card…..those people are horrible!!!! Ink Bold because it is awesome!
I would like the Delta Gold card….Msp is a hub.
Club Carlson — free-night bonus!
I would love to get a business delta card for the mqm’s but I haven’t figured out how since I am don’t really have a business. Any ideas??
Delta reserve because I love the 10k MQM sign up bonus!!!
Im going to go for the AT&T Citi Thank You MasterCard. The card gives you 10% money back for paying your AT&T cell phone, cable bill, and buying anything from AT&T store (like a new iPhone).
The Chase Hyatt card so that I can use the 2 nights at the Park Hyatt Tokyo or Paris for trips in Nov and Dec.
I plan to go for the American Express Platinum Card, toward the end of the year, for the lounge access, the Global Entry and airline fee credits, and with any luck, 100,000 membership rewards points.
Club Carlsson, I’m already gold and I’ve been upgraded to some of the best suites in their Europe properties. Not quite as keen on the program in the states but the 85k sign up bonus coupled with the extra night redemption makes it a great card to have. Sometime after I meet the ink plus spend some this last promotion. Delta platinum card likely after those two 🙂
The Chase Hyatt cards because I have a trip next year I could use them for
I want to get the amex business platinum even though it has a high fee because of the bonus MM and the access to the delta clubs…and thanks for doing all this for all of us..
I plan on getting the AMEX Reserve so I can get Skyclub access. I minis it since I dropped to Platinum.
I was eying the Delta Platinum Business for a while so I could get more MQMs. I received the skybonus promotion and jumped on it to get an additional 20K additional MQMs. Diamond status here I come =)
The Club Carlson Premier Visa as the points will be very useful on a trip to Europe in 2014.
Probably a Carlson card.
I am going for the Delta Platinum AMEX Business card because of the latest sign-up bonus and the fact that I can get the additional MQMs in addition to the ones I’m already getting with my Personal Delta Platinum AMEX card.
I plan to apply for the Ink Plus because I already have the Bold and CSP, but I’d like another 50K UR points!
After the House refinance is done its SPG AMEX next up. other than the Delta Platinum personal and business not sure I need another. At least till the first year is up and I can switch to the Reserve
I plan to go for the Ink Bold to get better return on their bonus spend categories and to be able to easily separate my business spending.
I’m done for the year, I have all the cards I wanted and need to let my scores recover for a while. OK, that’s a lie. Something from Chase or AMEX. I’m frustrated with US Bank even though I got the Club Carlson Business. Bank of America does not have any offerings I need (have Virgin Atlantic) and Citi is driving me nuts with not being able to combine credit card accounts online so I can see Hilton and AA card on one screen login.
I plan to go for the Delta Amex, any flavor. I have great credit scores but for some odd reason Amex doesn’t like me much so far. I need the miles for 2014 travel plans.
I plan to get the SPG Business card from AMEX to net me some more Starwood points for a trip Downunder.
I found a card that really interests me. I’m going for it: the Fidelity Investment Rewards card. It’s a break from the travel cards, issued by an “off” bank, an Amex, and the rewards get invested into mutual funds. How cool is that?
Ink Bold to build up my stash of Ultimate Rewards points with another cool 50k!
Club Carlson Business (if USBank deems me worthy) for the 80K points and last night free benefit!
So far I’ve been through the Ink Bold and Plus so I’ll be applying for one of the no fee Ink cards (probably the Classic) and cancelling my Ink Plus.
Just picked up 6 cards in a churn, not sure if I will do more this year. If I do, maybe Club Carlson
Hilton HHonors from Citi. 50K points with no annual fee. I like free
Probably the Citibank AA card since I am seriously considering giving the merged AA/USAir most of my business…
The Delta Amex card to take further advantage of the crossover rewards with SPG and gain status faster with Delta since I’m flying them much more for work lately.
Delta Business Platinum for the 20K EQMs
Already have the Reserve
Upgrade to the AmEx Delta Platinum for the additional 5K and the additional benefits!!
I’m planning to get the Club Carlson card, because I’ll be traveling quite a bit for grad school in the next few years and that free night with points redemption will come in handy!
Whatever hotel card I need to maximize my dreamforce stay.
Delta business platinum for the MQM promo going on right now.
I’m going for the Citi Executive AAdvantage card, because it would give me 10,000 EQMs toward status plus an Admiral’s Club membership.
Ink Plus! Love my Chase UR Points!
Chase Freedom – to get category bonus points to then transfer to Ultimate Rewards
going the the BA chase card just to get the 50k miles for use on
AA in conus.
Delta Platinum……more MQM’s with signup bonus and minimum spend….what could be better!
I’m thinking about the Club Carlson for the free-night bonus.
I have a solid vision for my next card and selected my card based on the value it will provide me for my travels.
My travelling for work has started to pick up substantially. I will be travelling for work 20-25 times this year, both domestically and internationally. To that end, I’ve decided to apply for the Mercedes-Benz Amex Platinum Card.
At $475/year, it ain’t cheap. But I know I’ll easily recover value over the year:
1) 50,000 signup bonus points with 3K in spending over the 1st 3 months — easily worth >$500.
2) I’m going to apply for Global Entry — for both myself, my wife, and my parents. Reimbursement value of $400 on the application fees.
3)$200 airline credits on incidentals
4)Lounge access: I’ll be flying Delta mostly since i’m out of Atlanta. That alone is worth >$300 for me.
So in the 1st year, I’m valuing the points/credits I receive at ~$1400, easily recouping the annual fee of $475+$175(for the 3 additional cards). Not a bad deal at all!
Ink any Ink for UR points
Delta Platinum for the MQM.
The Chase British Air Card. I like the “chip” for use in Europe and could use the 40,000. Avios points!
The Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Reserve Card gives gold status. Like you and your IHG card which gives you Platinum, Rene, I do like a card giving me status I don’t have to do much to earn!
Just the basic Delta amex card
Delta Platinum AmEx for the extra MQM opportunities
I plan to go for the British Airways Visa. I need a card with a chip for European travel. Wish it was chip and pin instead of signature, but I can’t seem to find a chip & pin in the US.
Hyatt CC — want to stay at the Sydney Park Hyatt next year on points
Probably going for the Chase Sapphire. I have six Chase cards already and am hoping they will ask me to dump one to get it. I’m done with Marriott.
Southwest personal and business cards. My goal is to obtain enough points to get the companion pass for my wife so she can travel with me more!
Ink Bold for all the extra miles you can earn.
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card I could really use the 40000 ultimate rewards points after meeting the relatively easy $3K spend in 3 months.
SPG Amex, next up in my churn cycle
Ink Bold since I already have the Ink Plus and love it
delta Amex card
Top of my priority list is any of the chase UR cards. To date my wife has been getting those while I’ve been getting others with annual perks. Now that Marriott cat 4 free nights are worth less (downGrade) its on the chopping block. Probably for the ink plus
Either the Ink Bold or the Amex Reserve.
I’ve never had the SPG card and those points are great, but I do have a lot of Am Ex cards and I might have to drop one before applying.
Ink Bold to get 5X at office supplies stores
AMEX Delta Platinum miles
I’d like to go for the Amex Plat. For the extra lounge accesses.
Chase Saphire Preferred, for the signup bonus and the transfer to many airlines.
Going to go for the SPG card for the extra points around Labor Day!
I never have gotten the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and it is high time. Looking forward to having the points flexibility.
The BA card for some cheap domestic travel when needed
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card. The only one I don’t have out of your recommended cards for casual travelers!
The Ink Plus card, so I can finally check out the business bonuses. It should help keep business expenses separate, give me 5x points at office supply stores, and accumulate more flexible UR points.
I will likely be applying for the SPG American Express card when the sign up bonus increases to 30,000.
I am going to get a Citi American Airlines Business Card. Want to top of my AA account for a redemption.
Delta AMEX Reserve for the sky club access
Next time another Delta Platinum Amex comes around. Had to miss out this time since I just got a few cards 2 month ago
The Delta AMEX Platinum – MQMs, companion ticket, and all the rest of the perks make it a great card!
Citi AA Card. Don’t have it yet but want it in case they issue a new card after the merger – Double Bonus!
I don’t plan on signing up for any credit cards the rest of the year. I use a debit master card that I earn points on from my credit union.
DL plat. Gotta have the free checked bag for work trips coming up.
One of the non business AMEX cards…already have the platinum business and like the bennies, but AMEX points very useful to me!
Starwood preferred to get the valuable points
Going for the CSP Mastercard.
Club Carlson card — for the free bonus award nights.
The Club Carlson Business Card! Just got the personal card and want to add the biz version!!
Amex Delta Platinum Reserve for all the perks. Have excellent credit with a score around 800 and Barclay’s just denied me. First time applying with them. Weird…
I think I will go for the Delta Amex again. I had canceled it and waiting a year before reapplying.
The Chase Saphire Preferred for the points transfer options and signup bonus. Also 2x points on restaurants is very good for me because I’m always eating out.
The club carlson for the bonus point and free bonus night
I want the Barclay luftansa card that I got turned down for
Club Carlson card, I bought points from the flashsale and want my 2nd nights free! We live in Minneapolis, HQ for Carlson, so lots of Carlson hotels to choose from around here on weekend trips.
Hyatt card for 2 nights in Hong Kong
I plan to go for the Chase Fairmont VISA card, for the 2 free nights to use on my birthday trip to Barbados!
Since I have 5 miles/point earning cards right now, it seems crazy I have neglected Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card… so that will be my next card.
The Delta Platinum Business Amex…due to the targeted bonus. I might just make Platinum this year.
I’m going to get the Sapphire finally for a good overall card.
I want SW Companion Pass which I just received 2 Chase SW cards.
SM Amex – so I can follow you around! Just kidding don’t think we have the same schedule 😉 but as soon as my new business is established that will be one of the first applications sent…. I have also sent in other comments to qual for this, have you not received my SWAG comments?
I am very happy to receive 50K Citi AA AMEX card recently. However, it will require $5K spend to get this 50K AA miles.
I want SW Companion pass for the next 18 months which I just approved for 2 Chase SW cards.
Citi AA AMEX card due to the 50K sign up bonus. However, this card requires $5K spending in 90 days 🙁
The Barclays US Airways card before it goes away

The Delta business platinum for the 20,000 MQM

Chase freedom for the 5x points in rotating categories.
Chase Southwest to get the Companion Pass.
The club carlson for the bonus point and free bonus night
The personal Delta Plat Amex card if I can ever get targeted for the 15k MQM offer! Annual companion ticket and the spending bonus for MQMs!
Amex plat for global entry and club benefits.
Delta Business Platinum, for the mqms, definitely. Maybe some others, too, of course…
Amex SPG Business for a new business we’re starting.
United Explorer for the UA miles and primary car insurance.
Planning to get SPG Amex card. Need those airline transfer bonus points.
I’m looking at gold & reserve. The good for the miles then upgrade to reserve for MQMs.
I am going to the Citi AAdvantage card. I have lots of Delta Sky Miles and would like to start building up miles with another airline.
I plan on completing the southwest companion pass from the biz and premier card. And maybe a hyatt card too!
I live in Japan so the JAL Saison Visa card.
Chase Hyatt … want to use the 2 free nights at Andaz Maui
I’m working on getting the British Airways card to get the bonus miles for a trip I’m planning to surprise my wife and kids (I’m hoping to take them to Hawaii early next year… I’m just a little under my miles goal to get 4 free RT tickets)
Amex Delta Reserve so I can qualify for elite status!
Applying for the business Amex Platinum in the next few days because of the 20000 mqm so I can hit PLATINUM with Delta by October. After qualifying for PM in October upgrading to the Amex Reserve for lounge access on my tour of the Pacific rim countries.
I plan on getting any delta card for 75000 points/mile bonus. I missed out last year 🙁
Before the year is over, I’d like to get the club carlson credit card because I want to get the last night of every award stay free – plus gold status!!!!!
SPG Amex business to boost those points and avoid the annual fee on my consumer card
Alaska Airlines card, want to start a secondary airline program separate from Delta. I already have Delta AmEx Reserve.
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
Chase Hyatt Visa, This one will help me boost my Gold Passport points earning, enhance my Diamond membership in additional to earning free nights.
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card for the benefit/points/no foreign fee, as I plan to use it traveling to South East Asia later this year.
Ink Bold. Still don’t have it.
Starwood Amex is next on the list — all of my business hotel stays are on a master account so no points. Need to start accumulating so my “free” airline mile redemptions don’t end up costing me a fortune when I arrive at my destination. Just got back from Australia and the hotels prices were pretty crazy.
Maybe the Delta Platinum AMEX because I can’t get enough MQMs. I’ll be Diamond in a few months, but now trying to build up rollover MQMs. I already have the AMEX Delta Reserve card.
Thinking about the Citi HHonors Reserve for 2 nights at the Grand Wailea.
Right now my go-to is the Hilton Citi Visa, but since the de-valuation of Hilton Miles I really want to choose a different one.

I will apply for the Club Carlson business card. I would love to get it because the bonus for signup is great. Also, the points get me the second night free. Love that! I have had the Carlson personal card for about 7 months and have used it for great stays in Bangkok, the Ukraine, and Tashkent. I am in Radisson Blu in Tbilisi, Georgia right now…… on points, of course. The Carlson points work very well for me because I travel mostly outside of the US. I just hope that Carlson doesn’t devalue/change this in the very near future.

AMEX Gold for the targeted signup bonus I got
Delta Platinum Business is on its way. 20K MQM and 55K mile bonus will get me PM status and enough additional miles to book my family’s trip to Hawaii!

I am really working towards points for the rest of this year so I am going to do the delta Amex platinum, because of the bonus mqm. Will use as biz card.
I’ll be going for the SPG Business, to further pad my SPG points for a stay in Hawaii!
Citi AA Mastercard. I wanna get in on the 50,000 sign up bonus offer.
I want to go for the JetBlue American Express card since JetBlue offers great flying benefits and good service.
Probably the Delta Platinum Amex. Those 5,000 MQMs and extra RDMs sound like a nice boost.
Club Carlson card so I can use the points for a Radisson Blu in Europe this December!
Delta Reserve Business later this year
I have w delta amex plus I have a SunTrust delta debit card. I love them both. I rack up great miles every year 🙂
Nothing the rest of this year. I just got the Delta Platinum AMEX a month ago.
Amex Gold, because my 12 months in the frozen tundra of “not eligible” are up, and it is time to renew!
Just got Business Plat 55k signup bonus, may go for Lufthansa card if offer extends.
I plan on going for the Amex Delta Platinum card for a of the benefits.
I got the Amex Delta Platinum Business yesterday. I’ll use it to make it Diamond. Got the Reserve a few years ago to make Platinum, ready for Diamond now.

Not sure what card next – have to research – what is the best card to get?
I want the Delta Reserve Amex card for the MQM earning potential.
I want to apply for the Amex Platinum card, for global entry and all of the other perks.
amex business gold for my wife so she can get priority seating and zone 1 boarding when flying on her own. And 30,000 bonus miles with small spend
Skymiles AMEX–we live on credit card for the sake of convenience, so why not accumulate the miles? Good for hotels as well as flights!
No more this year
Delta Platinum AMEX Business card for the MQMs
Hi Rene,
I plan to secure the Citi Hilton Reserve card to cement my Gold status with that chain. Didn’t see a need to stretch and mattress hop with this card availble.
As a retiree already with a current Delta Platinum card, I do not see me getting another one before the end of the year.
I plan to get the chase Hyat card. It’s a card I’ve been putting off for a while with all the other cards, but need to finally bite the bullet and get it.
Ryan G.
Delta Platnium business card
25k miles 5 k mqm’s after first purchase
Delta Reserve Business – more MQMs.
I need hotel points I am fine on airline miles between work and personal. Just not sure which one??
Delta platnium biz — lots of mqm’s and bonus miles!
Probably the Ink Bold, or maybe a surprise one with a great bonus!
Hi Rene,
I am a newbie to the frequent flyer/points club. My next big credit card surge will be the Ink plus/bold cards. Ultimate rewards seem to be the most versatile points in trading and I am going to transfer them to delta for my big two week trip to Italy next year. Unfortunately I couldn’t make use of the 60000 point deal brcause I had just got three new cards the monthe before but befire year end I am applying!
I am going to try to get the Lufthansa Miles & More card because they have good First Class to Europe.
I will be trying to upgrade from The Amex Gold Rewards to the Amex Platinum and set Delta as my airline for the $200 credit. Love the Skyclub access everytime I travel with my friend who has it. Although I’m waiting for a big sign-up bonus offer to come along, the benefits are entirely worth the $450 annual fee
Possibly the Delta AmEx Platinum for the MQM and Delta perks.
I’m going with the AMEX Business Platinum. Can’t pass up that great offer!
The Chase Hyatt so i can add more free nights in Paris
Delta Business card — bonus MQMs!
Citi Hilton Honors. Like the gold. Will enable me to work on elite with another chain.
I plan on going back after Amex delta platinum for the extra SM points,
I’d say the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card Visa card. With this card you can transfer points to both British Airways Chase card and United Chase card. Not so the other way around.
Another subject: I will never go with rentalcars.com again. The rental immediately went onto my card and I couldn’t get it off. Problem was in order to cancel it I tried calling their toll free numbers (I didn’t have internet access at that time), and they were never available. The cut off time for cancelling passed, and now I’m stuck with a $315 bill for nothing.
Amex Business Platinum…want the 25,000 sign up MR points and the $200 misc airline credit, and worldwide lounge privileges.
None. Have enough cards. The American Express Delta Plat and the extra MQMs and other benefits would have been nice.
Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard based on your recommendation. Looks like a good card.
I plan on going for the Amex SPG card next. I need to build up some points for the next vacation!
Delta AmEX Personal Reserve. Extra MQMs are always good.
