Let me first say a HUGE thanks for the support for Blog reader Nina. We are at this point set for about one week worth of warm nights for her and more developments may be on the way.
Next, as you can see from the above, there is nothing like flying to Salt Lake city for lunch with a friend (OK so I am on another mileage run but still). Above is blog reader Steve, a fellow skier, who picked me up to go to the outstanding place below near the airport.
BTW – I am giving away another Bluetooth keyboard on twitter tonight if you have time for a retweet for a chance to win! – https://twitter.com/DeltaPoints

Rene, great lunch….even of they were soldout of vanilla. Happy travels.
I was just there in September – can’t say enough good things about the place! Get there early, lines get long. The food is fantastic, and the waiter was right, it is some of the best Mexican food you will ever have. Who would have thought in SLC?!?! I recall they had about 12 different kinds of mole…decisions decisions.
Mmmm mole. Was there last week on business. There’s a RI2 nearby with shorter lines
Yep, I crave the mole negro….glad I was able to take Rene there….he went for the chimi though. Of course, everything was delicious!
@Steve – yep food grt company even better. Ski ya soon 🙂
From a former SLC resident, Red Iguana is one of the best Mexican restaurants you will ever find
