At any moment you will see the blogs explode with the announcement that the new Priority Club PointBreaks list is out for August and September.
These rooms are a GREAT deal and value and GO FAST so start thinking about where you want to go and be ready to book rooms as soon as the list comes out. I see a weekend get-a-way in the “Windy City” on the way for me and some friends in September some time 😉 René
PS – it looks like you can still get rooms in South Dakota and Oklahoma from last round 🙂

YEAH! About time they come out hehe.
I´ve been eagerly waiting for these for days! Refresh, refresh, refresh…
Yes hands down this is the best redemption value in the hotel industry. You can also book through a Cashback site and get a few bucks back too on your redemption!
@Dale – kool tip. Txs so much. Rene
what is website to check the priority breakpoints?
@Sil – here you are: http://www.priorityclub.com/hotels/us/en/global/redeem/pointbreaks/
Thanks. Just initiate a transfer from Erewards to PC. Anyone know how long this would take? Also, waiting on my points from my PC credit card. Have to wait till mid August for closing date to receive points…uggh!!
@Sil – anywhere from days to weeks from E-Rewards. CC come when statement closes.
You guessing that the list will be out today or you have some inside source ?
@jason – would I ever tell if I had inside info? 😉
@Dale – Which cashback site do you recommend? Does it need to be a fixed $ reward rather than a % as the price is paid in points?
Yeah, spread the word to the world. The best way to kill the deal. Great job
@Yigal – if you like this post, wait till you see the one coming on Thursday! You are going to LOVE it! – Rene 😉
>>>>>>would I ever tell if I had inside info?
No:-)
For cashback sites, I use ebates, mr rebates and topcashback. Usually one of them is running a promo almost at any time, and I believe ebates has 9% for Holiday Inns only (not other chains within Priority Club), although some people state that you might be able to get full 9% since you can book other chains through the Holiday Inn only link.
Typically hotels get up to $50 from Corporate on reward nights, however if the hotel is at 95% capacity they will get average daily rate of prior year. When a hotel has processed Reward Nights in excess of 1,000 or 2% or their total rooms available for that year, whichever comes first, that hotel will then be paid double the standard rate for all subsequent low-occupancy reimbursements.
So there is a chance of getting a nice rebate if the hotel is full and there is a special going on with one of the cashback sites.
So, does this not happen today then?
@Cory – most of the time the list hits at NOON EST so be on the watch when it does soon! – Rene
Bad tip; list still not out
@ Eric – i never said NOW. Any time now the list will be out. I want readers to be ready to book when it does as rooms go fast. – Rene
