This has been a busy week with our airline. In case you missed some of the interesting events that my fellow Boarding Area bloggers covered, here they are:
Milwaukee is no longer going to be a Frontier hub, plus Delta is adding more flights to NYC, and Delta is doing something very slick. They are, as Gary talked about HERE, offering to exchange your Frontier miles AND status (only up to Silver) with Delta if you live in Wisconsin. You can read more about it HERE and HERE as well.
Next is a post “Deals we Like” had talking about bonus Skymiles for buying Marriott gift cards. The deal is not the greatest, but if you are say going to be staying at Marriotts for work and get your employer to reimburse you for your Marriott expenses, this could be a way to get a bit of a double dip. You will earn Marriott points when you pay for a stay and then pay for it with the gift cards, but not when you buy the cards. Again, not the greatest deal ever but if you NEED SKYMILES, this could help build your balance. You can read more about it at the direct links HERE and HERE.
Now that Delta is done putting Economy Comfort seats in all it’s jets, it is time to make use of them. They have been a nice minor upgrade when Medallions do not get first, but be aware there will be a full court press to sell this new asset as we can see HERE.
Our company CEO was on NPR this week on “All Things Considered” and you can read or listen to the interview HERE. Nothing earth shattering and information we all know but I find it interesting how many press shows “RA” does to promote our Delta. Maybe I could call him for a Delta Points interview one day and get questions from readers. Hummm…..
Lastly, and this has nothing to do with Delta, be happy you were not on this bus!
Have a good and safe weekend everyone and enjoy your ride where ever your Delta jet takes you! – Rene

Rene,
As for the bus “Veering off the road” The driver was going in reverse, look where the mirrors are.
