A friend of mine was talking the other day about the fact that I always fly first class (I don’t if it is under 3 hrs btw but always hope for an upgrade). First class is a complete waste of money to purchase
@John – no argument from me here, I am talking miles at low level for 1st class or LUT class tickets and then medallion upgrades! – Rene
I would guess that maybe 10-20% of first class passengers are full-fare flyers. Almost everyone seated in first on any given flight has been upgraded in some fashion.
